Located in Cologny, one of Geneva’s most exclusive lakeside districts, Pat House is a high-end private residence that interprets contemporary living through a rigorous, essential, and highly sophisticated language.
Developed in collaboration with AMD Swiss Interior Design, the villa is conceived as a coherent system of spaces and surfaces, where light, reflections, and materials become design tools to amplify the perception of space.
The residence incorporates a wide range of spaces dedicated to wellness and entertainment, including a gym, billiard room, game room, poker room, and a dynamic cinema, presenting itself as a complete home designed to offer an exclusive and immersive living experience.
The entire project unfolds through a language based on pure geometries and continuous surfaces, where each element is designed to engage with the whole without visual interruptions.
Walls, cabinetry, and storage volumes become an integral part of the architecture, with glossy and semi-reflective finishes that help multiply light and expand the perception of space. Reflective surfaces and neutral tones create a controlled, elegant, and perfectly balanced environment.
In the sleeping area, the project reaches one of its highest levels of formal and technical definition.
All surfaces are finished in brushed high-gloss lacquer, achieved through an eight-coat finishing cycle that ensures depth, uniformity, and a highly controlled reflection of light. A reconstituted wood veneer is also used, treated with the same brushed high-gloss finish, introducing a sophisticated texture consistent with the overall design language.
The wardrobe system is designed with flush sliding doors, so that, once closed, the surfaces are perfectly aligned, creating absolute visual continuity and a sense of extreme formal clarity.
Within these surfaces, the home’s climate control systems are fully integrated into the cabinetry design. Technical elements thus become part of the architecture, remaining visually discreet and perfectly coherent with the project’s language.
All furnishings, entirely bespoke, stand out for their exceptional attention to detail and the calibrated use of materials.
The internal storage systems are organized with millimetric precision, featuring material finishes that introduce a warmer tactile dimension within an otherwise rigorous context. The balance between smooth surfaces and textured details contributes to making the space more welcoming without compromising formal coherence.
A central feature of the space is the large wardrobe island, conceived as both a functional and scenographic volume. Within it, all storage systems are integrated and meticulously organized.
On the same island, two dedicated seats are incorporated, true “thrones” for him and for her, designed to accompany the daily ritual of dressing.
The result is a space that combines order, comfort, and a sense of representation, where every detail is designed to enhance usability without compromising overall elegance.
Seamless architectural integration and material purity
Bar cabinet
Near the entrance to the dynamic cinema, a fully integrated bar cabinet is set into the wall, conceived as both a service element and a transition between spaces dedicated to entertainment.
The entire volume is crafted in black Corian, a material that allows for seamless surfaces and completely invisible joints. The countertop and the integrated sink, also formed from the same material, contribute to a monolithic, compact, and extremely clean appearance.
The built-in minibar integrates perfectly into the composition, without interrupting the linearity of the design.
Its placement accompanies the transition toward the cinema area, making the act of service natural and immediate, within a fluid and coherent spatial sequence.
The areas dedicated to entertainment represent one of the most distinctive aspects of the project.
The billiard room is conceived as a scenographic space, dominated by dark tones and reflective surfaces, where light is used in a precise way to emphasize volumes and create depth. The table becomes the visual focal point of the room, set within a highly controlled composition.
Pat House represents a synthesis of design rigor, material research, and attention to detail, where every element, including technical systems, is conceived to be perfectly integrated into the architecture.
A project in which technique disappears, leaving space for a system of volumes and surfaces where light does not merely illuminate, but constructs the space.
