Our Story
A tradition that becomes design
A tradition that becomes design
For over a century, Perdoncin has brought the dreams and ideas of entire generations to life. In every gesture lies the experience and mastery of artisans, guardians of knowledge that travels through time like a precious legacy.
The story began in 1880, when Edoardo Perdoncin started shaping wood in the small workshop beneath his home, creating solid and robust furniture inspired by the finest Venetian tradition.
In the post-war years, his son Giacomo joined him with a fresh and curious perspective. In the 1950s, he opened the first shop dedicated to the public, expanding the offering with products from other brands to respond to a rapidly changing market.
In the 1960s, Giacomo’s sons — Giacomo, Lorenzo and Aldo — brought new momentum to the company. They specialized in the creation of bespoke furniture and transformed the workshop into a larger, more modern space, while remaining faithful to their artisanal identity.
Hands that learn through observation
Perdoncin has always been a family story: of hands that learn through observation, of ideas passed down, and of a craft strengthened through generations.
This continuity has allowed the company to preserve the same values of authenticity, precision, and attention to detail that have defined every project for over a century.
From the workshop of 1880 to the contemporary spaces of today, each step has been guided by a strong family bond, the desire to innovate without losing our roots, and the ability to combine experience, sensitivity, and a shared vision.
A legacy of gestures, vision, and continuity: it is in the hands of those who came before us that the quality of what we create today takes shape.*
A new generation leading change, bringing together technical expertise, creativity, and a contemporary sensibility.
Today the story continues with Davide and Riccardo Perdoncin, the fourth generation, who lead the company with renewed energy. Thanks to their vision and to a network of professionals that has grown over time, Perdoncin has expanded its horizons toward interior design and contemporary furniture, weaving together tradition, technical expertise, and creativity.
The aesthetic language has evolved, the perspective has opened to new possibilities, and a modern sensibility has shaped projects capable of responding to today’s needs while anticipating the challenges of tomorrow.
This is where the mission that guides the studio today takes shape: to create interiors and furnishings that combine the solidity of tradition with the innovation of design, offering bespoke solutions that reflect the story of those who live within them.
Not simply creating furniture, but crafting harmonious, enduring, and authentic spaces — where the passion of yesterday meets the vision of tomorrow.
